Fredrick Douglass Family Foundation

Direct Descendants of Frederick Douglass and Booker T. Washington fight to end the scourge of modern day slavery.

Mission:

Our mission of ‘Abolition through Education’ combines the visions of these two great men. We teach young people about human trafficking and all forms of modern-day slavery and we do it within the context of history. In turn, we encourage those that we teach to educate their peers and the community in which they live. Funds raised by the foundation will go directly to educational programs with the goal of ending the practice of the buying and selling of people.
